New Build

Located at St. Louis Church in Buffalo, NY. The Historic Kimball Organ was built in 1903 by the W.W.Kimball Company of Chicago, IL. Originally containing 30 stops with 33 ranks of pipes. As of October 1999, the organ has 2,600 pipes distributed over 44 stops (49 ranks). In 1952 a new console was installed and had become quite unreliable. Our team was approached to design and build a new console for this beautiful instrument back in 2017. Our goals were to reflect the architectural components in this wonderful space and visually tie both the organ case and the console together. Lacking with the previous console was a visual connection between the Organ and the Console. The two components did not talk with one another creating a broken relationship between the organist and the music. Our design tackles those issues creating a better experience to play, inspire, and harness creativity.
